Fred Finch was born Nov. 17, 1893 to Charles and Fannie Finch in Carmi, IL.

He served in the Army and was honorably discharged in 1919. He served as an Air Service Mechanic.

After he returned home he continued farming and He married Alma Green and they had three son's. Robert, James (Bud) and Richard. Alma died in 1927, leaving him with three young boys.
In 1930 he married Grethel Meacham.
He continued to farm and raise his sons.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and his brother George Washington Finch.

Services were held at the Kittinger-Fair Chapel on Monday December 18, 1967 at 1:30pm.

Pall Bearers were Arthur Hickling, Jr., Edward Knight, Charles A. Cleveland, Wilburn Duvall, John H. Fechter and Donald Russell.

Rev. Jack Frick and Rev. Lowes Browning officiating.

Organist Miss Marie Morris

Soloist Mr Paul Hayse.
