SPRING VALLEY, IL - Virginia Mason, 84, of 415 W. Erie St., Spring Valley, died on Sunday, June 12, 2011, at Spring Valley Nursing Center.
She was born Feb. 12, 1927, in Spring Valley to William Michael Loebach and Katherine M. Kleaver Loebach. She married Floyd Mason on June 28, 1947, in LaSalle.
She is survived by two daughters, Susan (Tom) Quartucci of Spring Valley and Janet Mason of Princeton; two sons, James (Mary Jo) Mason of Washington and Larry (Sherry) Mason of Peru; a brother, Bill Loebach of California; three sisters, Patricia Loebach of California, Kate Schweickert of Wisconsin and Dorothy Hanlon of Marseilles; nine grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by her husband on Dec. 11, 1997, and brothers and sisters.
