J NICE DIES
J. Nice, age 80, a former resident of Deer Creek in Carroll County, Indiana, died Tuesday at the home of a son, J.O. Nice in Murpheesburo, Tennessee of burns suffered January 2, when his clothing caught fire form an open fireplace. Funeral services were conducted at Murpheesburo and burial was made there.
Surviving besides the son and a daughter, Mrs. Leonard Seward of Lucerne, are a brother, William Nice of Peru, and a sister, Mrs. William Bell of Chili. The deceased moved from Deer Creek to Murpheesburo about sixteen years ago and was well known in Cass County and Carroll County, Indiana.
