She was very brave during her "preemie" heart surgery, but died at the age of 6 days. She contracted a rare form of pneumonia.
She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Donald L Buxton.
She is survived by her parents, three brothers: Alexander, Mitchell and Jack; grandmother Betty Patricia Buxton; grandparents LaVerne and LaMae Norman, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Darling Jennifer was prayed for every day before she was born and during her brief life by many friends and family members.
Her father and mother noted the following scriptures in her birth announcement:
"Yet the Lord longs to be gracious to you; He rises to show you compassion. For the Lord is a God of justice. Blessed are all who wait for Him!" Isaiah 3-:18
"Oh God we have set our hope that He will continue to deliver us, as you help us by your prayers." 2 Corinthians 1: 10-11.
A private family funeral service was held on Monday, October 2, 1995 for Jennifer and Alexander.
