She was born Jan. 21, 1957, in Lovell, Wyoming. On August 22, 1981, she married Dennis Lynn Howard; their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti LDS Temple.
Lisa received her nursing degree and worked at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center, and in the office of Dr. Morrison. She also loved her job as an Orem City 911 Dispatcher until having to take a medical retirement. Lisa was very active in her church and community. She served on the Miss Santaquin Pageant committee, and supported anything her family participated in. Every year she looked forward to decorating the city float, even when it wasn't her duty. She loved music of any kind, especially singing and playing the piano.
Lisa will be greatly missed by everybody because she made friends wherever she went. She had a great sense of humor and personality that always made people feel at ease.
She is survived by her husband, Dennis L. Howard; children, Kathleen and Eric, all of Santaquin; brother, John (Boni); sister-in-law Julia (Bill) Rassmussen, both of Idaho; brothers-in- law, Tim Howard, Santaquin; Richard Howard, Draper; sister-in-law, June Piethero, Provo, many nieces and nephews that she loved like her own children, and many close cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Mildred Snelders; sisters, Linda and Kathleen; and her grandparents.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 1, at 11 a.m. at the Santaquin Stake Center, 90 S. 200 E. Friends may call Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Holladay Hills Funeral Home, 66 S. 300 E., Santaquin; and also for one hour prior to the services Saturday at the Stake Center.
