Mrs. Marie Anna Meyer, 75 years old, died at 3:25 o'clock Saturday morning at her home, 144 North street. She was a a native of Schlangenbad, Nassau, Germany, and came to the United States when eleven years old. She went to Indianola, Texas, and then came to San Antonio, where she had resided since. In 1860 she married F. J. Meyer. She was the mother of thirteen children, three of whom are dead. Mrs. Meyer was a member of the St. Joseph's Catholic church, the St. Anne' Society and the Third Order of Francis.
Mrs. Meyer is survived by Mrs. E. G. Seng, Mrs. C. F. Landauer, Mrs. Henry Ashley, Mrs. Ed Crawford of Kingsville, Mrs. Ed Kotula, Mrs. Charles George, Floresville; Sister St. Stanislaus, of the Lady of The Lake Convent; Misses Mary and Annie Meyer; one son, Ed Meyer of Austin, Texas, and two brothers, Jake Staudt of San Antonio and Adam Staudt of Floresville. The funeral will be held from the home Sunday afternoon.
