There will be no visitation. A private family memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Summers-Kistler Funeral Home in Olney with Reverend Father Jerry Wirth officiating.
Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Ste. Marie.
Mr. Ochs was born on November 15, 1918, in Jasper County, the son of Frank and Margaret (Shelly) Ochs.
He was a retired carpenter.
Mr. Ochs is survived by three daughters, Constance Minard, of San Antonio, Texas, Lucy Kesler and her husband, Richard, of Vero Beach, Fla., and Nancy Thompson, of Olney; two sons, Dennis Ochs and his wife, Judy, of Claremont, and James Ochs and his wife, Laura, of Naperville; a brother, Jerome Ochs, of Montgomery, Ind.; four sisters, Dorothy Fisher and Zita Thoreson, both of Newton, Vicki McDaniel, of Vancouver, Wash., and Mary Harris, of Naples, Fla.; and 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, four sisters and one grandson.
