Erminio G. Vigil, age 84, beloved father, grandfather, and brother was called home by our Heavenly Father on Sunday, March 21, 2004.
Erminio was born in Cuba, NM to the late Domingo and Augustina Vigil;.
Erminio was a resident of Alameda, NM and a parishioner of Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church.
Erminio was proud veteran of the United States Army, who served our country during World War II.
Erminio was preceded in death by his wife, Ferminia Vigil in 1973.
Erminio is survived by his loving children, Katherine Vigil, Chris Vigil and his wife, Dolores, Lorraine Watson and her husband, Mike and Melvin Vigil and his wife, Mary Ellen, his precious grandchildren, Agustin Vigil, Adam, Mark and Eric Vigil, Danny, Steven, and Robert Watson, Yvette García and Jason Vigil, great-granddaughters, Jay Lynn Vigil an Alyssa García, two sisters, Ignacita Trujillo and Pablita Cordóva and other beloved family members and friends.
Erminio will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him.
Visitations will be on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary, Alameda, NM. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday at 7:00 p.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Alameda, NM. Final viewing will be on Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 8:45 a.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM at 11:00 a.m. Casket bearers will be Erminio's grandsons, Adam Vigil, Mark Vigil, Eric Vigil, Jason Vigil, Agustin Vigil, Danny Watson, Steven Watson and Robert Watson.
