Georgiana Baca, age 88, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, NM, passed away on March 31, 2011 at her home in Rio Rancho, NM.
Georgiana was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rito Baca and her devoted son, Robert Lee Baca.
Georgiana is survived by daughters, Patricia Sandoval and Millicent Manspeaker and her husband, Daniel and daughter-in-law, Joann Baca. Georgiana was blessed with ten grandchildren, Robert Baca and his wife, Gloria, Gerald Baca and his wife, Vanessa, Rito Baca, Veronica West and her husband, James, Christopher Manspeaker and his wife, Christine, Damian Manspeaker and his wife, Ann, Jerome Manspeaker, Mark Manspeaker, Jeremy Montoya and his wife, Maryann and Julie Lucero and her husband, Paul. Georgiana was further blessed with sixteen great-grandchildren, Robby Baca, Alyssa Baca, Krista Baca, Maximus Baca, Bryana Baca, Jennavecia West, Noah Manspeaker, Abigail Manspeaker, Alexavier Manspeaker, Maya Manspeaker, Elijah Montoya, Mia Montoya, Brenda Montoya, Isaiah Lucero, Luke Lucero, and Gabriel Lucero.
Georgiana enjoyed interacting with her children and grandchildren and they will sorely miss her wisdom and guidance.
Georgiana loved to cook and was also an excellent seamstress. Georgiana was very concerned with the education of her family. Her interests lead her to be on the boards of the local PTA.
Georgiana was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church and was a member of the Altar and Rosary Society of that parish.
The Rosary will be recited on Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary, Albuquerque, NM. The Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of the Incarnation in Rio Rancho, NM. Interment will follow at Santa Fé National Cemetery, Santa Fé, NM at 2:15 p.m.
