JOSIE SANCHEZ AVILA 7-6-1936 ~ 3-17-2010 Left to be with the Lord at 73 years old after a short illness. She was preceded in death by her parents, Juan and Perfecta Sanchez; son, Arthur Avila; husbands, Albert Avila and Gilbert Garcia. She is survived by her sons: Jimmy Avila and Lawrence (Larry) Garcia; daughters: Arlene Avila and Donna Avila (Paul Martinez); sister, Mary Ann Sanchez; grandchildren: Anthony Avila (Amanda Romero and her son, JoJo), Elizabeth Avila (John Elselt), Jeneara Haren (Tyler), Desiree Garcia (Gilbert Ornelas); great grandchildren: Aviannah Avila, Samara Ornelas and Giana Avila; niece, Theresa Root (James) and their children, Caleb and Perfecta; along with many other friends and relatives who will miss her dearly. Visitation will be held on Monday, March 22, 2010, 6:00 p.m. where a rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. at Berardinelli Family Funeral Chapel. Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 23, 2010, 12:30 p.m. at St. Anne's Catholic Church. Interment will follow Santa Fe National Cemetery.
