Funeral services for Mr. Abraham Renden Apodaca, age 78, of Oak Grove, Louisiana will be held at 2PM on Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Cox Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Grove. Reverend Paul Ninemire will officiate. Services are under the direction of Cox Funeral Home of Oak Grove.
Interment will be in the Santa Nella Cemetery in Gustin, California at a later date.
Mr. Apodaca died Friday, June 5, 2009 at Glenwood Medical Center in West Monroe, Louisiana.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ernest G. Apodaca and Frances Renden Apodaca, and a brother, Sedro R. Apodaca.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Apodaca of Oak Grove; son and daughter-in-law, Andre' and Jennifer Apodaca of Fresno, California; son, Ernest J. Apodaca of Oak Grove; son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Delores Apodaca of Fresno, California; daughter, Jeanette Arroya of Fresno; step son and his wife, Donny and Heather Butler of Pollock, Louisiana; step son and his wife, Dennis and Sue Butler of West Monroe, Louisiana; step daughter and her husband, Diane and Johnny Pardon of Oak Grove; brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Theresa Apodaca of Lakewood, California; sister and brother-in-law, Dee and Tony Morales of Lake Tahoe, Nevada; sister, Ramona Neri of Fresno; sister and brother-in-law, Molly and Rudy Chaulet of Pahrump, Nevada; 9 grandchildren; 8 step grandchildren; 12 step great grandchildren.
