Eileen C. Dewater, 76, of Yuba City died Feb. 7, 2002, at her residence. Born in Waterloo, Iowa, she was a Yuba-Sutter resident for 11 years. She was a former resident of Salinas from 1957 to 1989. She was a homemaker.
Russell Adams Dewater & Eileen Cecilia Grady married July 24, 1945 in Cedar Falls, Ia.

Survivors include her husband, Russell A. Dewater of Yuba City; two sons, Russell A. Dewater Jr. of Salinas and Rickey A. Dewater of Phoenix, Ariz.; two daughters, Roxie A. Tossie of Salinas and Rebecca A. Swafford of Orangevale; 10 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and five sisters.
Contributions may be made to a favorite charity.
Services: Visitation will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday
at Hutchison and Carnes Colonial Chapel. A graveside service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at San Joaquin National Cemetery.
