TEXAS CITY - Doris Marie Boone, 55, of Texas City, died Monday, October 30, 2006, at her residence. Funeral services are set for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 4, 2006, at Carnes Brothers Funeral Home in Galveston.
Graveside services will be 9:30 a.m. Monday, at Houston National Cemetery. Visitors may call at the funeral home beginning at 5:00 p.m. on Friday with a wake to be held from 7:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
Doris was born October 27, 1951 in Galveston to Roy Lee Bolden, Sr. and Mary Lee Washington Bolden. She attended Galveston Public Schools, was an LVN, was co-owner of Boone's Tree Service and a member of the Word of Faith Baptist Church.
Preceded in death by her parents, brothers, Felder Bolden, Roy Lee Bolden, Jr. and Willie Bolden.
