Mrs. Lynes died Monday in Goshen after a long illness. She was 93.
She was born in Spring Glen, N.Y., Jan. 23, 1867, daughter of Peter and Sarah Doolittle St. John. She was married to the late James Lynes.
Mrs. Lynes, a former registered nurse, lived in Middetown for 57 years. She was a lifelong member of the Wawarsing Order of the Eastern Star.
She was also a member of the North Congregational Church, the Judea Shrine of Kingston, and the Harmony Club.
Surviving are a brother, Charles A. St. John of Middletown, and several nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Poplar Grove Cemetery, Phillipsport, N.Y.
