She married Eugene Brennan and lived for many years in the New York City area [Elizabeth, NJ and Brooklyn, NY] where Gene was employed by several of the cities daily newspapers including the Journal American and the Herald Tribune.
Katie and Gene were the parents of 2: daughter Joan [Thomas] Sweeny and son Eugene [Fran] Brennan. She was the grandmother of 4. She lived her last years in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.
