Lancaster - Mrs. Mamyme Funderburk Rowell, age 76, wife of L.L. Rowell of the Tabernacle Community, died Saturday April 30, 1966, in a local hospital.
Born in Lancaster County, daughter of the late Abel and Lutica Sapp Funderburk. She is survived by her husband; four daughters, Mrs. J. Hugh Brooks of Monroe, NC, Mrs. Carson Funderburk and Mrs. Max Hough both of Lancaster and Mrs. Bill Jenkins of Miami, Fla., two sons, Joe Rowell of Florence, SC. L. Harold Rowell of Lancaster; fourteen grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. A.P. Plyler, Mrs. P.M. Plyler, Mrs. E.O. Rowell and Miss Carrie Funderburk, all of Lancaster; three brothers, Charles Funderburk, and Rom Funderburk, both of Hartsville, SC and Clyde Funderburk of Lancaster.
Funeral services Sunday at 4:30 from the Tabernacle Methodist Church conducted by the Rev. T.E. Lyles and Rev. Edward Jones. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
