Mrs. Annette Patricia Colquitt-Berry was born February 1, 1947 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Calvin T. Colquitt, Sr. in Atlanta, Georgia. She attended Wesley Avenue Elementary School and was a 1965 graduate of David T. Howard High School in Atlanta, Georgia.

Annette was employed by The Emory Clinic at South Dekalb, as a patient coordinator. She was also a long time employee of Rich's. Annette was one of the first black telephone operators hired by the City Of Atlanta Police Department in 1965. Most people described her as a hard worker, who was caring, loving and most dependable. She touched the hearts of many people. As a result of her contributions to her family, community and friends, may she forever continue to live in our hearts.

Her sole survivors, which includes her only child, son Mr. William H. Berry, Jr.; her husband, Mr. William H. Berry Sr; two grand-daughters, Brittany M. Berry and LaQuisha Gibbs, two sisters, Ms. Barbara J. Denton and Ms. Carolyn J. Bowden; four brothers, Mr. Allen Cook, Mr. Calvin T. Colquitt, Jr., Mr. David Colquitt and Mr. Kenneth B. Colquitt all of Atlanta. Several nieces, a very devoted niece Ms. Denise M. Smith, nephews, god children, relatives and many friends. A very special close friend, Mrs. Pamela Williams.
