Ronald "Les" Maravich, 68, of Chambers Hill died Thursday, June 30, 2011, in his home.

Les was a retired school teacher for the Steelton-Highspire School District, a graduate of Shippensburg University receiving his BA and Masters Degrees in secondary education and a member of St. Nicholas Serbian Eastern Orthodox Church, Oberlin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Maravich, Sr. and Mildred Chelap Maravich and a brother Samuel Maravich, Jr.

Les is survived by his wife of 21 years, Paula M. Taylor Maravich and his "Yorkie Boys" Baxter, Maxwell, and Oliver.

Private funeral services and viewing will be held at the convenience of the family in the Wiedeman Funeral Home 357 South Second Street, Steelton, with the Very Rev. Stavrofor Srboljub Jockovich, his pastor, officiating.

Burial in Churchville Cemetery, Oberlin.
