Mary Louvenia "Mollie" Glover Sutton
Mrs. Mollie Sutton was born to the late James and Louvenia Glover November 24, 1868. She died at her home in Jackson County September 21, 1955 being 86 years and 10 months. She was married to L. B. Sutton June 5, 1887. He preceded her in death 53 years. To this union were born 7 children, 4 of whom survive. They are: Mrs. Genie (Sidney) Givens and Mrs. A. M. (Ora) Witcher, of Jackson County, Mr. R. L. Sutton, Nashville, Tenn., Mr. D. S. Sutton, Atlantic City, N. J. She had 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren; 1 sister, Mrs. Alta Midkiff, Washington, D. C., 1 brother, B. N. Glover, Lafayette. She was a good example of a kind and godly woman. She was baptized into Christ 53 years ago remaining one of Bagdad's oldest and most faithful members. Frank Young of Alabama delivered the comforting words from the Bagdad church of Christ. She was laid to rest in the Witcher Cemetery at Bagdad by Kempville Funeral Home.
