KEOKUK MAN IS ROBBERS' VICTIM
Peoria, Ill. - With a deep scalp wound and a crushed skull, the body of Martin Paardekooper of Keokuk, Iowa, was recovered from the Illinois River here today. The county physician believes the man may have been robbed and murdered.

Son of Gerhard Paardenkooper and Allbadene Steunenberg.
He married Helen "Ella" Essig, and was the father of five: Helen, Martin Jr., Daniel E., Garrett, and Berdena M. Pardekooper.
Buried on Mar 16, 1922 by Crimmins Funeral Home.
