Funeral services for Clara M. Wermerskirchen, 84, 335 East 7th Ave., Shakopee, were said Wednesday, April 23, 1980, at St. Mark's Catholic Church, Shakopee. The Rev. Peter Wittman officiated at the 11 a.m. Mass of Christian burial.
Mrs. Wermerskirchen died April 20 at Friendship Manor Nursing Home.
Clara M. Wermerskirchen was born January 15, 1896, at St. Joe, Minnesota, to Mr. and Mrs. Michael Beckius. She married Peter P. Wermerskirchen at St. Joe on May 21, 1918. She was a member of the St. Francis Hospital Auxiliary.
Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. George (Clareen) Ries, Shakopee, daughter-in-law Mrs. Bea Wermerskirchen, also of Shakopee, and eight grandchildren.
Pallbearers for the funeral were Hillard Marxen, Don Muelken, Clayton Schoenecker, Alfred Francis and Paul Wermerskirchen.
