Born abt 1816 in Tennessee the third of fifthteen children of Joshua Lawson and Telitha last name not known. He was married two times, his first wife was Ava Laura Bowls/Bowels whom he married 3 January 1837 in Jacksonville, Morgan County, Illinois. This produced eleven known children, Stephen married Elizabeth A. Batty; Mary married James Worrall; Elisha; George Washington married Mary Elizabeth Patterson; William Calvin married two times first to Mahala Jane Blanchard and second too Mary Pruitt; Elizabeth married Jabus Worrall; Tabitha "Telitha" married Joshua Worrall; Sophia married William Patterson; Lucinca married Frederick R.E. Starr; Caroline married two times first to Robert Worrall and next too a Cockrin; and Barmet. After Ava died in 1868 he married Emiline A. McGlaughlin 18 August 1869 in Morgan County, Illinois. Andrew died sometime after 1880.
