William C. "Bill" Suiter, 81, died Saturday, Dec. 16, 1989, at Community Memorial Hospital.
Services were at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday from the First Baptist Church of Marysville with the Rev. Vernon Belew and the Rev. Ed Brown officiating.
Organists were Cleta Roberts and Clarice Smith. The congregation sang "How Great Thou Art," and Mr. Brown sang "My God and I: and "Now I Belong."

Pallbearers wee Bill Phillipi, Charles Lindeen, Jim Keller, Jerry Gellinger, Jerrie Johannes and Kent Nester.
Honorary palbearers were Moody Messick, Bud Harrison, Brad Houtz, Jim Roberts and Bill Buss.

He was born Oct. 19, 1908, at DeWitt, Neb., the son of Earl and Marian Clark Suiter.

He married Genevieve Perry April 12, 1931, at Beatrice. They were the parents of one son and three daughters.
They moved to Marysville in January 1948.

He had been a mechanic for International Harvester, worked for Dilley Electric, was a maintenance man for Mary Marshall Manor, was a special deputy for the sheriff for 25 years, a member of the Marysville Volunteer Fire Department for 36 years, and on the ambulance crew for 17 years.

In recent years in addition to working for the Marysville Ambulance Service, he had operated Pine Hill Courts with his wife, Genevieve, retiring in April, after her death.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church here since 1948 and the only ordained deacon of the church.

Preceding him in death were his wife on April 11; a daughter Mrs. Duane (Lois) Palmer; and a brother, Everett Suiter.

Survivors are daughters, Mrs. Robert (Phyllis) Booth, Beloit, and Mrs Dan (Corky) Holm, Garnett; a son William Suiter, Jr., Columbus, Neb.; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Eady Todd, Whittier, Calif.., Elma Wythers, DeWitt, Neb., and Ola Reimers, Maryland Heights, Mo.
