She died on 1 December 1856 in Becks Grove. Joseph was later married to Nancy, the widow of Isaac Smith. She was born about 1795 in Kentucky and died on 10 December 1876. She was buried in Lutes Cemetery, Salt Creek Twp., Jackson Co., Indiana.
