Jan (John) Koudelka was born June 2, 1829 and baptized on June 3rd in Rakov, Bohemia #17. He was the son of John Koudelka and wife Anna Kolar. He also married an Anna Kolar (born Apr 24, 1824 in Borovany #11). They were married November 21, 1848. They had 4 children: Vaclav (born 28 Sep 1849 in Radkov #17), John (born. 5 May 1851 in Rakov #17), Frantisek (Born 22 Oct 1853- 5 Feb 1859 in Rakov) and Maria (born 30 Jan 1857 in Rakov #17). All of these individuals (with the exception of Frantisek) had the date of January 13, 1869 with the words "to Amerika" written on each birth record as well as John and Anna's marriage record.
