Lillian A. Hatch was born April 28, 1859 in Rock County, Wisconsin, daughter of Munroe (James Monroe) Hatch and Azuba Osborn. She died July 14, 1903 at Sullivan aged 44 years, 2 months and 16 days and was buried in the family plot in Pleasant Valley, Sullivan, Wisconsin.

On Sep. 15, 1880 Eason was married to Eason David Higbie. Eason was born August 27, 1849, in Sullivan, Wisconsin, son of William Hiram Higbie & Emma Driscoll. He died May 2, 1934 in Jefferson County, Wisconsin, and was buried in the Pleasant Valley Cemetery in Sullivan, Wisconsin. Their 15 children were:

Vernon L., b. 30 May 1881, died Oct. 4, 1881;
William Cheste, b. 15 May 1882, died 1958;

Both Eason and Lillian are buried in the family plot in Pleasant Valley Methodist Church Cemetery at Sullivan, Wis.

Earl married Hilda Margaret Louisa Hix on March 25, 1905 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin and died August 21, 1865 at Jefferson, Jefferson County, Wisconsin; Vernon married Tina Benson; Forest married Mayme Lois; Elmer married Barbara Jahn on May 24, 1911 and died February 13, 1869 at Jefferson, Wisconsin; Myrtle married Harry Fallon on March 23, 1910 at Renton, Wash. and died in Sept. 1979 at Yorba Linda, Calif.; Pearl married Hugh Lawrence and died in August 1969 at Fond du Lac, Wisconsin; George married Janet Guttenberg and died May 11, 1974 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin; Roy married Gertrude and died in January 1971 in Los Angeles, Calif.; and Hazel married Ed Hahn on August 5, 1919 and died in February 1982 in Palm Springs, Calif.

In the 1910 U.S. Census Eason Higbie was listed as a 61 year old widower and odd job laborer living in a rented house in Sullivan Township, Jefferson County, Wisconsin.
Also buried in the same plot in Pleasant Valley were; Lucille Higbie Pollack, 1916 - 1936; and Linda Peters, 1943 - 1943. This may indicate that they are related to Eason Higbie in some manner.
