Trujillo, Emilio Perez (Lightning)
Surrounded by his loving family, Emilio lost his short battle with cancer on Thursday, February 1, 2007. He was born on the 22nd of May 1931 in Miami, Arizona to Ralph and Antonia Trujillo. In his adolescent years they relocated to San Pedro, CA. Emilio joined the Army from 1950-1954, based in Virginia. He married Ginger and traveled back to California as their honeymoon, where they shared a wonderful loving life for 50 years until her passing on September 23, 2004. Emilio worked very hard as a Leadman/Foreman for Crosby & Overton, Ecology Control Industries and Allwaste, which changed names to Phillips Services Industries, retiring in 2005.

Emilio & Ginger's enjoyments were going to Las Vegas with family and friends, and having the traditional Friday family night. Emilio loved the Raiders, USC, Dodgers, Lakers and the S.P. Pirates. He loved to listen to James Brown and watch John Wayne, Charles Bronson and Steven Seagal movies and Monday night wrestling with WWE Raw. Emilio enjoyed pulling pranks and teasing both grand & great-grandchildren, which caused much and love and GREAT admiration fo him. Emilio was a generous and giving man to all who knew him.

He is survived by his daughters, Theresa El-Fegahli (Elias) of San Pedro, Tina Barnett (Kenny) of Torrance and his only son, Ralph Trujillo (Cindy) of Missouri. He was blessed to have 9 grandchildren, Justina, Monigue, Mandy, Nathan, RC, Vanessa, Emilio II, Nicole and John; 6 great-grandchildren, Jonathan, Maddison, Carter, E'Lora, Zoey and Cameron. Dad (Papa) our memories we shared will be forever in our hearts now it's time to be with mom (Nana), she has been waiting with open arms.
