FORT RIPLEY - Teresa Rose Thesing, age 63, resident of Fort Ripley, formerly of Elk River, died Monday, Nov. 28, 2005, at her home. She was born on Dec. 8, 1941, in Brainerd to Lucien and Mabel (Avery) DeRosier. Teresa was united in marriage to Paul Thesing on July 1, 1963, at St. Mathias Church.
Survivors include her husband, Paul; three sons, Todd, Timothy (Shannon Magnan) and Thomas; daughter, Tammy Thesing; three grandchildren, Nicholas, Alexander, Cassandra; three brothers, Ronald (Marie) DeRosier, DuWayne (Betty) DeRosier, Charles (Janeen) DeRosier; sisters, Lois (Frank) Ehmke and Geri (Duane) Villnow.
She was preceded in death by her brothers, Howard and Peter DeRosier; sisters, Opal Anne Johns and Charlotte Stevens; and her parents, Lucien and Mabel DeRosier.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, Dec. 2, 2005, at Heritage of Assembly of God Church in Baxter with Pastor Mark Boone officiating. Burial will be in St. Mathias Cemetery in St. Mathias Township. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Nelson-Doran Funeral Home in Brainerd and the hour before services on Friday at the church.
