John Emil Grandstrand, 82 of Center City died Tuesday night at 7:30 from a heart condition. Death came at his Center City home. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 2:00 pm. His wife died in January of this year. He leaves four sons, Phillip of here, Edward of Almelund, David of Center City and Clifford of Shafer and two brothers Axel and Charles of Almelund. Mr. Grandstrand was born in Sweden, August 28, 1865, he came to America, settling on a farm near Almelund. He later moved to a farm south of Shafer where he remained until his retirement four years ago moving from there to Center City. His farm was one that was hit by the big tornado of 1929. Mr. Grandstrand was well known and widely respected
