Mary Elizabeth Blount Angle, 105, of Roanoke, went to be with her Lord on Monday, June 20,2011.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Edwin L. Angle; and all of her eight siblings.
Mrs. Angle was a founding member of Southview United Methodist Church.
Surviving are her daughter and son-inlaw, Sara and Steve Bartley; two grandchildren, Stefie Bartley, of Lexington Park, Md., and Matt Bartley, of Vinton; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Southview United Methodist Church, 3539 Peters Creek Road, Roanoke, VA 24019. A Graveside Funeral Service will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, June 27, 2011, in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. The Rev. Larry J. Edmonds will officiate. The family will receive friends from 3 to 4 p.m. on Sunday, June 26, 2011, at Oakey's North Chapel.
