Daily News, Huntingdon, PA, Nov 4, 1963:
Mrs Olive Sophia Chilcoat of Russell, R D 1, died on Saturday, November 2, 1963, at 8:02 p.m. in the Warren General Hospital at Warren where she had been a patient for three days.
Born August 27, 1894, in Maine, Minnesota, she was the daughter of Thomas J and Amy A (Anthony) London. She was united in marriage with Jesse Chilcoat of Rockhill Furnace who preceded her in death on May 8, 1962.
Surviving are the following children: Thorburn C Chilcoat, Chicago, Ill; Miss Hazel M Chilcoat, Russell, R D 1; Mrs David (Violet) Reagle, Russell, R D 1; Mrs John (Dora) Cox, Monaca and Eugene C Chilcoat, Weldbank. Also surviving are nine grandchildren and one sister, Mrs Mary E Hilk, Arnold. Two children preceded her in death.
Mrs Chilcoat was a member of the Rockhill Furnace Church of the Brethren and also a member of the Willing Workers Class of that church. She was a former resident of Rockhill Furnace but had been residing at Russell, R D 1, for the past year.
A prayer service will be held at the Peterson Black funeral home in Warren this Monday evening at 9 o'clock with the Rev Herman Davidson officiating. Viewing will be held earlier this evening. Funeral services will be held in the Ott funeral home in Orbisonia on Wednesday, November 6, at 2 p.m. with the Rev David Emerson of the Rockhill Church of the Brethren officiating. Interment will be made in the IOOF Cemetery in Rockhill Furnace. Friends will be received at the Ott funeral home after 3 p.m. on Tuesday until the hour of the services on Wednesday.
