Hobart Michael F. Collins, age 55 of Hubert, NC, passed away Wednesday, December 31, 2003.
Mike had been a resident of Hubert, NC since 1992, formerly a long-time Hobart area resident. He was a retired manufacturing supervisor and formerly was a Hobart Police Officer and a Vietnam Veteran of the U.S. Marine Corp. Survivors are: three children, Lindsey Collins of LaPorte, IN, Sarah Collins of Greensboro, NC and Brandon (Robin) Collins of Calvert City, KY; one grandson, Levi; three sisters, Joan (Mike) Gregor, Jane (Don) Hofflicker and Linda (Larry) Binkley; two brothers, Jim (Laura) Collins and Richard Collins; many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Marion and Virginia Collins.
Graveside services will be held Friday, January 9, 2004 at 1:00 p.m. at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville.
