Nadine loved crafts and started sewing when she was young making her dolls clothes. When she grew up she designed and made many of her own clothes. She loved bright colors and could visualize how they all went together even without a pattern.
Nadine was in campfire starting as a "Bluebird" and in high school "Horizon". She went to Wilson High School in Portland. After high school she went to the University of Oregon to major in General Social Studies. She joined the sorority Sigma Kappa as a sophomore. She was married & had two daughters.
After college she worked for the State of Oregon in Public Welfare, first in Eugene and then in Portland. She worked her way up to be a supervisor and was very good at her job.
Nadine left us way too soon as the result of a brain tumor. She died at the age of 36.
