Her memorial will be a celebration of her life on Tuesday July 20, 2010 at 3:30 PM in the Mt. Olivet chapel in Fort Worth.
Frieda was a warm hearted woman that always had a clean bed, a warm meal and kind words for the many spare kids and families in need she and Brooks took in and helped through the years. Her strength and kind heart will be missed by all that knew her.
Frieda was predeceased by her parents T.E. and Mamie Wright, a brother Larry Wright and a sister Gwen Rogers.
Those left to cherish her memory include her Husband, Singleton Brooks Barrett Jr., Daughters Kathryn Towson, Kerry Sanders and Melea Taylor; Sons, Shel Barrett, Singleton (Tres) Barrett III and Choya Barrett; 12 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; Brother, James Wright; Sisters, Martha Brantley and Elaine Watson; Numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and a great many friends.
