Naples, N. Y. - Early Thursday morning, Mrs. Ellen Parker Lyon passed away at her home on Race Street, after a few weeks' illness.
Ellen Parker was born in South Bristol on September 11, 1839, a daughter of David and Minerva Parker. On November 26, she was married to Seth S. Lyon, of this town.
Mr. Lyon was a widower with three little children, all of whom are dead. Mr. Lyon died on March 22, 1889.
Mrs. Lyon leaves two daughters, Mrs. Minnie Armstrong of Seattle, Washington, and Mrs. Frank Kistner of Naples.
Funeral services were held from the home on Saturday with burial in Rose Ridge. (submitted by FAG contributor ACL)
