Mrs Sarah Adams pioneer resident of Eagleville passes away at the home of her daughter Mrs Fred Street Thursday and was buried in the Eagleville cemetery Saturday afternoon. She was 85 years of age at the time of her death.
Mrs. Adams had resided in Surprise Valley for 63 years and spent 50 years in Eagleville. She was known and loved by practically every man, women and child in the Valley.
Mrs. Adams made the trip across the plains from her home in Ohio in 1876. Her husband passed away in 1918.
The deceased is survived by five children: Mrs. Fred Street, Mrs. Jennie Cambron of Eagleville, Mrs M.R. Kennedy of Cedarville, Mrs Sadie Cambron of Alaska, and J.W. Adams, Napa. One son, Frank Adams, passed away several years ago.
Pallbearers were six grandsons.
