Services are 9 a.m. Tuesday at Wheelan-Pressly Funeral Home, Milan. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Rock Island. Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Monday at the funeral home, with a rosary recited at 7 p.m. Monday.
Pearl was born May 2, 1924, in Rock Island, a daughter of Edward Joseph Ziegler and Rose Elizabeth Engels Ziegler.
She was an operator for the former Illinois Bell for 40 years and a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, Black Hawk Council.
Surviving are her brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Virginia Ziegler, Rock Island; 13 nieces and nephews; numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, and great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Rose Margaret Ziegler, Anna Marie Taylor, Catherine Grindle, Lillian Quinones, and Amelia "Millie" Black; an infant brother, Edward Joseph Ziegler; and two nephews.
