SUSANVILLE, CALIF. - Dennis Earl Adams, 72, former resident of Thatcher, Box Elder County, died Thrusday in Susanville following a stroke.
He was born May 18, 1893, in Layton,Utah, a son of Dennis Elias and Cathrine Priscilla Harris Adams. He came to Thatcher as a small boy where he was reared and educated.
He was married to Rosa Christiansen Aug. 10, 1913. The marriage was later solemnized in the Logan LDS Temple. She died Nov. 18, 1982. He married Nellie Jonas Stokes Dec. 1, 1963, in Susanville. He moved to California in 1963.
Surviving are his widow of Susanville, and the following sons and daughters: James Othello Adams, Hyrum, Utah; Mrs. Florence Udy, Riverside, Utah; Mrs. James (Juanita) Hall, Santa Clara, Calif.; Dean H. Adams, Salt Lake City, Utah; Eldon E. Adams, Provo, Utah; Reed C. Adams, Garland, Utah; and Grant E. Adams, with the Air Force in Guam; 26 grandchildren; one great-granchild; three brothers, one sister: Leslie J. Adams, Burbank, Calif; Floyd W. Adams, Thattcher, Utah; Oral Adams, Sepuleveda, Calif.; and Mrs. Leon (Wilma) Dunn, Tremonton, Utah.
Burial will be in the Walley View Cemetery, Bothwell, Utah.
