Joseph Carl Plese (82) passed away Friday, June 17, 2011 in Spokane WA. Joe was born in Butte, MT and raised in the Spokane Valley graduating in 1946 from Central Valley High School. While in school Joe was a great all-around athlete. He then attended Washington State College (WSU). Joe had a long and successful career as a Manager for ValuMart Stores. His love of sports continued his whole life and there was nothing he enjoyed more than watching his grandson play ball.

Joe was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather.

He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years Helen; son Anthony Plese; grandchildren Tracey Leann McCullough and Troy Joseph Plese; and great granddaughter Gracie Lane McCullough.
