Mr. Echols is survived by his wife, Mildred Echols of Cheyenne, whom he married Dec. 24, 1965; a son, Timothy Echols of Cheyenne; a daughter, Martha Watson of Tuscola, Texas; two stepsons, Lee Nelson of Snyder, Texas, and Paul Evertt Nelson of Cheyenne; two stepdaughters, Myra Jean Wombaker of Chugwater and Bonnie Redman of Lander; two brothers, John Richard Echols of Canyon, Texas, and Thomas A. Echols of Crowley, Texas; a sister, Vera Pauley of McClean, Texas; a grandchild; eight stepgrandchildren and six stepgreat grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Ada Echols; a grandchild and a stepgrandchild.
