Elizabeth came to the United States from Isleworth England with her parents and brother George Happs Jr they came in 1872 through Castle Garden Ny and settled in the small town of Westmoreland, NY.
Nov 6, 1886 Elizabeth married Luigi Guardiano ,(changed to Louis Ward.)
They lived in Rome Ny until about 1902 and In about late 1902 Elizabeth pregnant with twins and husband Louis and their 6 remaining children moved to Brooklyn NY.
Elizabeth died 6 days after giving birth to twin girls Loretta & Laura on April 1, 1903. She died from from acute pnemonia. The twin girls born April 1, 1903 were Loretta, who died on April 24, 1903 of malnutrion & exhaustion (as Elizabeth had died) and Laura who survived then later died on Oct 2, 1904 of measles.
