NATIVE DIES ON WEDNESDAY
Andrew Stoeffler Taken by Death at Toledo, Iowa

Funeral services were held Saturday morning from the McBride funeral home to St. Mary's church for Andrew M. Stoeffler, 89, who died last Wednesday at the home of his granddaughter, Mrs. H. D. Valline in Toledo, Iowa.

Rev. A. J. Schmitz offered the Requiem High Mass and burial was in Mt. Olivet cemetery with Rev. Nicholas Cigrand officiating. Pallbearers were Harry Stoeffler, John Degnan, Frank Fukey, Ed Huene and Albert Felder.

Andrew Stoeffler was born on September 29, 1873, in Guttenberg, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Stoeffler. On October 30, 1893, he married Susan Felder in Guttenberg. She preceded him in death in April of 1951. He spent his entire lifetime in Guttenberg and had worked for the Milwaukee Railroad and the American Pearl Button Company for many years.

Surviving Mr. Stoeffler are two sons, Arthur and Erwin Stoeffler of Nevada; and four daughters, Mrs. Julia McLaughlin of Nevada; Mrs. Minnie Brady of East Dubuque, Illinois; Mrs. Catherine Bauer of Dubuque; and Mrs. Alice Murray of Pella, Iowa. Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Andrew Ewen, Charles City; Mrs. Emery Coy of Trempeleau, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Christine Janzig of Dubuque.
