S. STOEFFLER TAKEN BY DEATH LAST SUNDAY
Resident of Town for 65 Years Died at Home
RITES APRIL 4

A long illness was fatal Sunday noon to Mrs. Andrew Stoeffler, a resident of this community for 65 years. Mrs. Stoeffler was ___ 76 years of age and had been in the community since she was ten or eleven years of age.

Funeral services for Mrs. Stoeffler were held Wednesday morning from St. Mary's church in charge of Rev. Louis Grunewald with burial in Mt. Olivet cemetery in charge of the Steger Funeral home.

Mrs. Susan Stoeffler was born May 2, 1875, at Glen Haven, Wisconsin, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Felder. At the age of ten or eleven years she came to Guttenberg and had lived here since that time.

On October 30, 1894, she was married to Andrew Stoeffler, who ____ along with two sons and five daughters, Irvin and Arthur Stoeffler of Nevada, Iowa; Mrs. ______ McLaughlin of Nevada; Mrs. Lawrence Heaton of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Mrs. Lloyd Brady of Dubuque, Illinois; Mrs. Joseph Bauer of Dubuque, and Mrs. George McMurray of Pella.

Also surviving are 29 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren, as well as three brothers, Peter Felder of Glen Haven, William Felder of Bloomington, Wisconsin, and Joseph Felder of Dubuque.

Two sons and two daughters preceded her in death.
