SCHUNTER RITE TO BE IN IOWA

Dayton District Man Passes at Age 87

Christ Schunter, who died at his home near Dayton Tuesday at the age of 87, will be buried at DeWitt, Iowa.

Born in Germany, Sept. 1, 1850, he came to the United States when he was 21 and later moved to the Dayton district.

He is survived by his widow, Elizabeth Cahill Schunter, two sons, C.H. Schunter of Dundee, and William F. Schunter, Delmar, Ia.; and four daughters, Mrs. Tillie Schmidt, Charlotte, Ia.; Augusta Schunter and Mrs. John Handrand, both of Council Bluffs, Ia., and Mrs. Harry Ruggerberg, Lost Nation, Ia.

Nineteen grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren also survive.

Macy and Son were in charge of arrangements.
