When Milton Britton was 24 yrs. old he left Grimsby, Ontario, Canada and moved to Dayton Twp.,Newaygo, MI. He was s/o Lyman Britton and Mary Elmira Patterson.
He married 1st wife Anna Cogswell 1873 Newaygo Co., MI. They had two infants that died young then in 1876 Anna passed away as a very young woman.
