Catherine married Joel Bradshaw Huston 20 Aug 1829 in White County, Tennessee and within a few years moved to Henderson County, Illinois with Joel's father Walter and other Hustons. They resided in McDonough and Henderson Counties until 1853 when they rode the Oregon Trail and settled a Donation Land Claim in Linn County. All children, except Worth, were born in Illinois.
