Funeral Home of Athens are in charge of arrangements. Mrs. Johnson died Friday morning in an Athens nursing home after a long illness.
She was born in the New York community and lived in Athens most of her life. Mrs. Johnson was. a former district clerk of Henderson County and a Methodist. Survivors are three sons; three sisters, Mrs. Ray Bassett and Mrs. W. E. Henry, both of Athens and Mrs. Jack Zachry. of Longview; a brother, Jim Brad shaw of Trinidad; and six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
