Funeral services for Mrs. Manilla Lorene Reeder, 77, of Monroe, were conducted at 2 p.m., Sunday, June 11, 2000, from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home with Bro. Cletis Beason officiating. Burial was in Antioch Cemetery with Livingston Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
Mrs. Reeder, a garment factory worker, died Friday, June 9, 2000, at Livingston Regional Hospital. Born May 5, 1923, in Clay County, she was the daughter of the late Elzie and Minnie Sherrill Conner. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Fred Conner. She was a member of the Antioch Church of Christ.
Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Leon and Carol Reeder, Monroe; a sister, Joyce Nichols, Chattanooga; three brothers, Jackie Conner, Allons, Roy Conner and Shirlie Conner, both of Monroe; three grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Glen Reeder, Matthew Reeder, David Matthews, Joe Conner, Kenny Conner, and Jimmy Simpson.
