G. WAYNE CUSHING
MAX - G. Wayne Cushing died Saturday (Jan. 19, 1991) at the Great Plais Medical Center in North Platte at the age of 77. He was born Oct. 7, 1913, at Hitchcock County to Ulysses L. and Grace (Jackson) Cushing.
He married Thelma Wilkinson.
He farmed northeast of Stratton before retiring and moving to Max in 1979.
He was baptised in the Christian Union Church in Stratton.
Preceding him in death were his parents; and three sisters, Avis, Belle and Esther; and three brothers, William, Harry and Floyd.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma of Max; two sons, Roy of Bridgeport and Gary of Manistee, Mich.; and six grandchildren.
Services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. (CST) at the Christian Union Church in Stratton with the Rev. Phil Sorenson officiating. Interment will be in the Rose Hill Cemeery in Stratton. Jones Funeral Home Inc., of Stratton is in charge of arrangements.
