Funeral services for Mrs. Marie Winningham Neal, 79, of Tipton, IN, and formerly of Allons, were conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, May 17, 2000, from the chapel of Young and Nichols Funeral Home in Tipton, IN, followed by burial in that city. Mrs. Neal died Sunday, May 14, 2000.
Born July 27, 1920, in Overton County, she was the daughter of the late Herman and Delta (Allred) Winningham. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Neal; and a brother, Clarence Winningham.
Survivors include four daughters, Jean Mahaffey, Maggie Norris, Sue Welcher, and Faye Elston, all of Indiana; two sons, Donald Neal and Clois Neal, both of Indiana; four sisters, Ester Thomason, Lola Coffee, both of Rickman, Jewel Dillon, Algood, and Lorene Morrow, Indiana; three brothers, Elbert Winningham, Algood, Clyde Winningham, Hilham, and Clifton Winningham, Nashville; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
